Why I created PriceDog
I built Pricedog.app to solve a problem I was facing myself — keeping track of price drops without constantly checking sites. It started as a tool just for me, but I figured others might find it useful too.

Can I use this internationally?
Yes. You can track products from online shops in many countries. Each product is shown in the currency the shop uses; we do not convert prices. Some shops block automated checks, so a few products cannot be tracked.
What if a website changes its layout?
We read the price from the product page. If a shop redesigns its page, a check can fail. After repeated failures we pause the product and mark it as no longer tracked, so you never see an old price presented as current.
How quickly will I get notified of price drops?
We check prices once a day and send an email when the price drops. A price that changes and changes back between two checks cannot be seen.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No! You can use the community tracking feature completely free. For personal tracking, you only pay for what you use with no upfront commitment.
